Jean Liu

Miss Jean Liu has loved music since birth and officially began her musical training at the age of 4. She started private piano lessons at 5 years old and flute lessons at the age of 9. Her love for music has grown over the years, and with this passion, she has developed a need to foster the love of music for others. Miss Liu started teaching at the young age of 14, modeling her teaching methods from what has contributed to her own musical success. Her abilities to relate to children as well as adults have been successful as her students' ages ranging from 3 to 22 years old. Miss Liu sees music as essential to everyday life, for "music is what life sounds like" (Eric Olson).
Joseph Renolayan
Saxophone/Guitar/Flute/Keyboard
Joseph Renolayan started developing his musical talent through piano lessons at the age of 7. After only a year of formal study, he began to experiment with other instruments such as the bamboo flute, the guitar and the drums. When he moved to the United States at the age of 13, he was introduced to the school’s band where he chose to hone his skills with the flute. Since then, he has been exposed to classical and symphonic repertoire. During high school, he joined the marching band and at the same time, found interest in jazz and alto saxophone. He taught middle school children how to play their instruments while sharing his learning experience with them as a self-taught saxophone and flute player. He decided to pursue a career in music by majoring in Jazz Studies and Performance at the University of California in Irvine. He is currently performing at local jazz clubs, formal events and concerts. He would like to continue to inspire his students while nurturing his passion.
Corran Lategra
Drum/ Percussions Coach
I started playing music at 11years old. Music has always been my passion growing up. I was encouraged by my band teachers Richard Maxwell & Dr.Roy Anderson to continue in studying music. As time went on I started playing Motown & R&B; I developed my training and began to take drumming seriously.
In 1989, I moved to Las Vegas where I joined my first professional band call Legacy; we were a Progressive rock band. In 1995, I moved to California and played in several bands. In 2002-2007, I moved to Russia and played in 3 bands K-13, Shekinah and 9th hour. I also taught & played in Finland. I enjoy teaching young drummers, as well as to inspire them and help them in developing their talents.
Saousan Jarjour
Voice/Piano/Musical singing & acting
Miss Jarjour was exposed to music from an early age. At age 7, she started taking private piano lessons, performing in recitals and playing at church. At same age, she discovered a passion for singing which was supported by her father who is an opera and classical music lover, and her grandfather who was a church organist. In age 16, with the support of her family, Saousan decided to follow her passion in perusing a musical career.
Saousan is a strong believer that the ultimate perfection of music lies in having fun. She believes in music being a tool of communication, healing, and self-discovery.
Saousan enjoys working with children and all music lovers who would love to be part of the adventure of learning how to enjoy music.


Noelle Falcis
English Literature and Composition
Noelle is a major in Classical Civilizations and English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She is comfortable addressing any issues pertaining to the study of English; whether it comes in the form of reading and comprehension, essay writing and use of syntactic devices, grammatical skills and phonics, and the exploration of the creative writing. She specializes in Creative Writing itself, and hopes to inspire her students to articulate themselves' innovatively. Furthermore, she can help with study methods for upcoming PSAT, SAT, or AP exams within the English subject. And last but not least, she can give guidance in the study of math and science for elementary through the intermediary level. She can comfortably work with all ages and determines her teaching methods by the specificity of the student and is willing to alter any teaching forms to help the student progress

Kenneth Haro
Voive Coach/Musical camp/Choir Conductor
Kenneth Haro holds a bachelor of arts in music, with a preference in voice from the University of California, Irvine. He began his studies as a choral conductor studying under Professor Joseph Huszti and has been a student conductor for the UCI choirs since 2009 and President of its Choral Organizations for its past two academic seasons. Currently, Kenneth is the founder and artistic director of Harmonium Women’s Chamber Choir based in Orange County. As an active member of the all male chorus Men in Blaque since 2008, he has collectively participated in the international choral Eisteddfod competition in Llangollen, Wales and awarded 3 gold medals for the United States in Shaoxing, China during their visit to the World Choir Games in 2010. He has had the privilege to work under world renowned directors such as Mark Morris with the Pacific Symphony and Robert Cohen in productions during his undergraduate work. He now continues his passion as a music teacher and choral conductor while actively perusing a lifestyle as a flamenco percussionist.
